Sandra's Burden.

$200.00

16x20 Canvas. Original Artwork.

What’s this piece all about?

I painted Sandra’s Burden towards the end of my retail career at a SOCAL inspired denim brand. Her wardrobe is SOCAL, her hair is straight, and her skin is white. I felt that this was the only standard of beauty while employed there. The fire to the nature behind her is indicative of the burning away of self to embrace something else.
