WHO IS DOMINIQUE ANNAMARIE?
Firstly, I am a follower of Christ. I strive to exhibit my faith in all that I do. I grew up on the North Shore of Long Island, NY. I am a graduate of Howard University with a BA in Philosophy. I am currently a Senior Marketing Manager at one of the nation’s largest real estate crowdfunding platforms. In this current role my focus is on all digital marketing efforts pertaining to investor relations.
hoW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN IN DIGITAL MARKETING?
I have over 7 years of digital marketing experience. My experience spans social media management, media buying, advertising, marketing reporting and analytics, marketing automation, email marketing, SMS/MMS marketing, CRM and CMS management, and more. Additionally, I have over 6 years of experience creating and executing various marketing strategies and efforts for local ministries.
why do you PAINT?
I began painting while in Undergrad as an extracurricular activity. I quickly realized that painting afforded me the opportunity to express what I was unable to express with words. I could communicate the multidimensional thoughts that I had in a way that was easier for others to digest. My art’s subject matter is often people of color. The themes of my art generally span divinity, space, time, and faith.
HOW IS DIGITAL MARKETING RELEVANT IN TODAY’S CHURCH?
I believe that as the world has fully moved into a digital era decades ago, and especially following the events of COVID-19, The Church has no choice but to embrace digitizing their individual infrastructures. There is no mission, no brand, no venture greater than that of Jesus Christ. People need hope, faith, and a safe space. The Church has always provided that, but will need to do so now with technology. Digital marketing is the vehicle to reach larger audiences across various demographics with precision and singularity in voice.
hOW DOES YOUR FAITH IMPACT YOUR WORK?
My faith impacts every single thing that I create. From campaign management to artistic expression, I strongly believe that if we were made in the image of God, we each possess an element of God’s creative nature. To me, to create is to commune with God. I believe that divine inspiration is the spark that separates the common from the extraordinary. Just a little faith goes a very long way.
